Last summer, we hooked up to running water. Last winter, we installed a 5-gallon hot water tank. This summer, we tried sticking our kitchen faucet out the window.

That's right, our extendable faucet doubles as a shower! It is a two person job, one of us stands guard by the faucet to adjust flow and temperature while the other cleans up. 

This isn't a wintertime activity, of course, but by now we know how to clean up without a shower (see Personal Hygiene 101).
